Privacy policy
Last updated 18 October 2026
This policy covers the etal early access waitlist. It explains what we collect when you sign up, what we do with it, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
Your email address and the date you joined the waitlist. That's it. This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.
How we use it
- To let you know when early access opens and to send you an invite.
- To send occasional product updates about etal.
- To ask what you think of etal, through short surveys, emails or calls.
We won't sell your email address or use it to advertise anything other than etal.
Your feedback
If you share feedback with us, we may use it to improve etal and quote it publicly, for example on our website, in social posts or in other marketing. We'll only attach your name, company or photo to a quote if you've told us that's okay. Otherwise it will be anonymous.
Where it's stored
Waitlist emails are stored with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in London. We only share your details with services we need to run the waitlist, such as the tool we use to send email, and they may only use them on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist closes and you haven't become a customer, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, or you can write to us at hello@lightningux.design. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK that's the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page, and if the change is significant we'll email you about it.
